SUBSTANCE USE

ADULT OUTPATIENT TREATMENT

At the Passion Care Center, we believe that a substance use disorder is a brain disease. To that extent, we use a multifaceted approach to provide individualized, client centered treatment to each client. When a client first arrives, they will be expected to complete an assessment and are evaluated to determine what would be the most appropriate level of care, according to their diagnosis and severity. We provide the following levels of care:

Education and Prevention – This level of care is directed towards clients who do not meet criteria for a substance use disorder, however would benefit from receiving education and resources to prevent the development of one.

Individual and Group Counseling Level 1–  This level of care is the mildest level of treatment provided for clients who would benefit from 1-8 hours of service per week. These services could include individual, group, education and recovery support services.

Intensive Outpatient Counseling Level 2- This level of care is intended to treat clients who may benefit from more intense services and requires a minimum of 9 hours of treatment per week. This level of care is appropriate for a client who would need more support during the early recovery process or who struggles with reoccurring relapses.

Partial Care 2.5- This level of care was designed to provide treatment in an increasingly structured setting. These services require 20 hours of treatment per week.

Bi-lingual counselors are available to provide these services as needed.
