Our program exists to reduce the rate and influence of substance abuse and others behavioral and mental health problems among adults and families. Our programs are based on Twelve Steps philosophies (AA/NA). We speak to the special needs of the consumer by addressing gender-specific treatment issues. We take a holistic approach to recovery- focusing on the physical, emotional, spiritual, family and mental health needs of each individual. We are committed to empowering our clients by teaching and modeling personal accountability and responsibility and providing coping skills training.

Treatment Team

Our multidisciplinary treatment team consists of highly skilled professionals and clinicians who use effective techniques and current modalities. Each adult is assigned a licensed counselor and a therapist who work directly with them throughout their treatment. Additionally, several consultants who have a passion in working with people will be utilized as needed in the following areas:

Program Objectives 

TPCC seeks to achieve the following specific objectives:

• To provide a Structure Alcohol and Drug Free Milieu to help them achieve goals in term of abstinence throughout their time in treatment and beyond

• To provide them with problem solving and conflict resolution skills

• To integrate them in a sober support social network for positive interaction and the inclusion healthy leisure time management

• To improve psychosocial adjustment and functioning within the context of the consumer’s served

• To provide necessary coping skills to resist negative pressures and avoid drug use, including the application of Relaxation Techniques

• To offer training in Anger Management, Assertive Communication, Social Skills, leading the consumer to…

• Increase knowledge about the process of addiction

• Help the client begin regular 12-step attendance, identifying a home-group and or sponsor

• Develop relapse-prevention plan

• Improve essential coping skills

• Work to change dysfunctional or destructive behaviour patterns

• Help patients maintain abstinence and develop a sober support system

• Provide inpatient detoxification when medically appropriate
